Today I am thankful for everything! I know I said it once before, but I am thankful that I have so many things to be thankful for! This 30 days of thankfulness didn't even begin to touch all of the things that I have to be thankful for. I feel lucky to be me, to have the friends & family that I do, to have a wonderful husband who I love more than anything and to be happy and content with all that I have!!
Today I am thankful for my In-Laws. Not many people can say that they love their in-laws and mean it. I do love them, and I mean it! I seriously couldn't have asked for better 'second parents'. They love me like their own daughter and they are wonderful grandparents to my kids. I was lucky enough to get a whole extended family that really is my family and not just my husband's family! Love you Mike, Sherri, Josh, Grandma Jo, Grandpa, Grandma Coeann and everyone else!!
Today I am thankful for my health and the health of my family. My friend, Bill, passed away today. He was just barely 30 years old and leaves behind a wife, Sarah, and a 5 year old daughter, Katie. It's hard to understand why such a young, great guy, got cancer. Bill fought it long and hard, but today he became an angel. I am praying for his wife, daughter, sister and the rest of his family today. I cannot imagine being in their shoes. RIP, Bill. You will be missed.
Today I am thankful for spending time with friends! Our friends, Derek & Lauryn, were in town from Tulsa visiting family for Thanksgiving. They came by today to watch the Mizzou game and it was great to see them. They are getting ready to move from Tulsa to Texas, which sucks because we'll see them even less, but it's a really great opportunity for them. It was great to see you guys today!!
Today I am thankful for a good deal and for getting to sleep in a little! I went out Black Friday shopping last night and got some great deals. It was a total madhouse everywhere we went, but it was fun and totally worth it. I left the house just after 9 pm and didn't get home until 3:15 am. I didn't even do the all nighter like my sister and her friend did! Justin was great and let me sleep in until after 9 this morning. Thank goodness for that because I would have been dead to the world if I would have had to get up at 7 when the kids got up! Thanks, Honey!!

Today I am thankful for having so many things to be thankful for! I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. I have a great family (including my in-laws) who I love to spend time with. I have wonderful friends. I have my health, my family's health and my job.

I am thankful for short work weeks! I know it's only Tuesday, but it's also "Thursday". So glad this week will be short and easy!
Today I am thankful for laugh! I have been talking to Kenley about Thanksgiving and trying to explain to her what being thankful is. I have been telling her some of the things that I am thankful for and I think she 'kind of' gets it. This morning I was getting her dressed and telling her that Thanksgiving is on Thursday. out of nowhere she says "Today I am thankful for wiener dogs"! LOL....no clue where that came from, but she was dead serious and I thought it was hilarious!
Today I am thankful for a night out with my husband! We had planned for a sitter last night (Thanks grandma and grandpa Conyers) so that Justin and I could attend the 'For Love Of The Game' dinner and auction. It's a huge event that the RB Booster Club puts on every year. They raise 100K plus to put back to all of the sports in the school. Pretty much everyone is there and there is big money being spent. We enjoyed spending the time together and hanging out with friends! Great dinner, free wine, great conversation!
After the dinner we met up with Justin's brother, Josh, downtown. He was already a little (ok, a lot) drunk by the time we got there, but it was fun to hang out. I felt like a college girl all over again. Some of Josh's friends thought I was only 24 years old! Ha!! 24 going on 30....I'll take it!
Today I am thankful for my mom. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful mom. She's been there for me through ups and downs and helped me in more ways that she even knows. I can always call her for support, to cry, to vent, to tell her about my day....anything at all. She is one of my best friends and I hope that I am as good of a mom as she is! Love you, Momma!!!
I know every parent must think it....how is it possible that my baby is ____ years old? Well, my baby is FIVE years old today and I really cannot believe it! 
THIS could not have 5 years ago. My perfect little baby girl, 4 days old! I remember so clearly bringing her home from the hospital and sitting down on the couch with Justin thinking "what now". It seemed like the wait for her arrival was so long ago then we were blessed with her and the time has flown. I can't believe I am the mother of a 5 YEAR OLD!!

Today I am thankful that I am a mom! 5 years ago today my baby girl came into this world. It seems like so long ago, yet, only yesterday. I'm sure every single mom that I know can relate to that feeling. I can't imagine the last 5 years without my children. They are my world! My whole world and I thank God everyday for blessing me with them!!
Today I am thankful for Tamiflu. The doctor called it in for me yesterday and today I feel so much better. I still don't feel great, but I am getting better and better as the day goes on. I hope I will feel MUCH better by tomorrow because it's my baby girl's 5th birthday and we have a big day planned!
Today I am thankful for sick days. Apparently I have the flu. This is day two of feeling like I was run over by a truck. It came on quickly and honestly, the only reason I worked yesterday was because I had to get payroll done. I slept most of the day today and I have periods when I think I am feeling slightly better. Overall I still feel like crap though. I'm thankful that I have sick days so I can stay home to rest and still get paid!
Today I am thankful for an early bedtime. I woke up this morning feeling horrible. I'm not sure how things could change that much in just the 8 hours I was sleeping, but I went to bed feeling fine and woke up feeling like I was hit by a truck. I think a trip to the doctor is in order for tomorrow and I am heading to bed right now to get as much rest as possible. Hopefully that will help me kick this thing sooner!
Today I am thankful for the roof over my head. We've been caught up lately in trying to buy a new house, but when it comes down to it, I am thankful for what we have. It's the first house we've owned. We've fixed it up and refinished/remodeled almost every inch of it. It's completely obvious that we are bulging at the seams, but it's our home and it's filled with love & laughter. It keeps us warm and safe and at the end of the day, that's all that matters!
Today I am thankful for a clean house! I spent at least half of the day cleaning the house today and I love when my house is all clean at the same time! I hate doing it, but there's something wonderful about sitting down to relax in a house that is clean and smells great!
Today I am thankful for Flipz! We had Kenley's 5th birthday party there today! Not only did we have a wonderful party, I didn't have to clean up or worry about anything while we were there! That's the way to do a birthday party! I'm pretty sure most of the adults had just as much fun as the kids did. Kenley got so many nice gifts and had such a great time! Thanks everyone for coming! Don't you guys worry...pictures will be coming ;~)
I've been using SHUTTERFLY since that moment and I have always been extremely happy with them! Every year I order PHOTOBOOKS for myself and both sets of grandparents to document our year. Today I am thankful for the relationship that I have with my mom and my sisters! To say that we are close is an understatement. We talk to each other almost every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. We support each other through ups and downs and are always there for each other. I feel lucky to have such close family and I am so very thankful for that!
Today I am thankful for all of the men and women, past and present, who have answered the call for service of our great country! You put the safety of us ordinary citizens above your own and without you we would not have any of the freedoms we enjoy today. Thank you for your service and your personal sacrifices that come with it!! May God keep you safe and be with the families of our fallen soldiers.
Today I am thankful for my job! I'll admit that I don't always want to come to work, but it's not because I hate it. I actually really love my job and the people I work with. I've made some really great friends and I have a great boss who gives me the flexibility that I need without making me feel guilty for taking off work. In today's economy, I am really lucky to have a great job that I love!
Today I am thankful for nice weather in November! I was able to take Kason outside this evening to play on the swing set and he had a blast. Kenley spent the day with my sister, since she's going back to work next week, so she didn't get home until dinner time. What a nice surprise to have a 75 degree day, in Missouri, on November 9!
Today I am thankful for Daylight Saving Time! The time change seems to have worked well for us yesterday. We were all able to get a little extra sleep, which was really needed, and the kids both got to sleep earlier than normal and slept well! Since it's getting dark earlier in the evening, it is easier to get Kenley to bed now! It's easier for all of us to get up in the morning when we have light! It's been rough on all of us for the past month or two, but I hope this will help!!
Today I am thankful for generous people! We had a fundraiser last night for my sister and brother in law to help raise money to cover some adoption costs. It was a huge success, in fact, it was much more successful than I expected! They ended up with over $4,000 after covering their costs. I was shocked by how many people came out to help them out and how generous people were for giving donations, purchasing silent auction items and purchasing raffle tickets. Now Christy and Jeff don't have to worry about how the will pay for the post placement visits and all of the other things that come along with it. They are able to just enjoy baby Amelia and spoil her rotten!
Today I am thankful for my night out! I love my kids dearly, but I desperately needed that time with my husband and my friends! We had a great time with great friends!
Today I am thankful for great friends!! The kids are spending the night with my parents tonight and we are going out with Jason, Allyson, Natalie & Josh! We'll be going to D'Rowes for dinner and then to Houlihan's for their late happy hour. It's been a LONG time since we we've gone out.....before football season started. We're both looking forward to it!
Today I am thankful for my two beautiful children! I honestly cannot imagine life without them in it. They make everyday worth getting out of bed just to see their smiling faces! Ok, ok, maybe the aren't always smiling faces in the morning, but you know what I mean! They make me strive to be a better person every single day and I love them more than they could ever imagine. They are my world!

Kason loved Halloween! He started riding around in the wagon, but then decided that he wanted to get out and join the fun. He spent most of the night chasing around his sister! He walked the whole way and carried his own bucket the whole time. I kept asking him if he wanted to ride in the wagon or if he wanted me to hold his bucket, and the answer was always 'uh, uh' while shaking his head no. He even said trick or treat once or twice!
Kenley was so excited for Halloween that she could hardly stand it. She woke me up that morning by saying "Mommy, you have to get up. It's Halloween (with a squeal)"! She enjoyed helping Grandma Sherri pass out some candy and really enjoyed trick or treating this year. She started out a little shy, but after the first couple of houses, she was practically running from house to house (hence the post about Kason chasing after her most of the night)! Overall we had a wonderful Halloween and we're looking forward to next year already. As I was laying in her bed with her at bedtime, Kenley ended the day by saying "This has been the best day ever"! That my friends is one of the best things to hear your child say! It doesn't get any better than that, does it?
Today I am thankful for new clothes! Sounds funny, right? Well I finally got some clothes that fit my new, skinnier, body and have gotten compliments all day! People at work have been telling me how great I look and I just love it! It makes me feel great about myself and that's something that I haven't had for a long time!
Today I am thankful for the right to vote! Did you know that women weren't given the right to vote until 1920? That's less than 100 years ago, which means that many of our grand mother's did not have that right. It's crazy to think about how far America has come in 90 years.
