10 on Tuesday!

Where to start? There has been a lot happening and I didn't have a chance to update last week!

1. Kenley's best friend is moving to Michigan in a couple weeks. Kenley is sad because she knows that she will never see her again. It's sad to me because Avery is her first really friend besides her cousin.
2. My first niece, Kylie, is turning 8 on Saturday and I can't believe it. It does not seem like 8 years ago that I was making my sister drink Castor oil and driving her on bumpy roads to induce labor...LOL! Happy birthday, Kylie Bug!!
3. Speaking of Kylie's birthday, she is having a hotel party this year. She gets to have some friends spend the night and they will be ordering pizza and swimming. Kenley is excited, although, I am not sure if she will be spending the night or not.
4. Kason has been sick AGAIN! He was just at the doctor less than a month before this trip. He's got another sinus infection. He went on antibiotics and the poor little guy got a diaper rash yeast infection. His little butt was bright red and very sore. He screamed and screamed because he was hurting so badly and he was walking like her had a corn cob stuck up his butt. Thankfully it is getting better, but it was a long couple of days!
5. Justin's first football game was last Friday and man was it exciting! It was the Providence Bowl where the 2 high schools in town play each other on MU's Faurot Field. We were in the lead for the whole first half, but then Hickman took the lead with only a few minutes left. Rock Bridge scored again, taking back the lead, but Hickman used every second in the game to win. Luckily, Justin's defense stopped them and WE WON!!
6. I've mentioned this already, but I am now a Scentsy Independent Consultant! I have my first party going on right now and I am excited for this new business venture. 7. Last Saturday I went with my sisters, mom and the kids to help my sister register for her baby shower (more info coming soon about the baby and the shower)! It was fun, but exhausting since we had 2 one years olds that did not want to sit still. After we registered, we went and had a nice lunch together.
8. I decided to remove this post for various reasons. If you read it already, you probably have an idea why.
9. Lots of my friend's kids started kindergarten this year. I'm glad I have another year before Kenley starts! I'm going to be a basket case!
10. Halloween is right around the corner and I think we know what the kids are going to be! Toy Story!! Kenley will be Jessie and Kason will be Woody! How cute will they be??

Wordless Wednesday

10 on Tuesday!

1. Happy birthday to my big sister, Christy! You'll get a kick out of this.....I asked Kenley this morning how old she thought you were today. She said 21! LOL!!
2. I had a great weekend. I went with my mom and little sister, Missy, to Illinois for my friend, Kim's, going away party. She's moving to Japan tomorrow morning and she will be there for at least 2 years! She's accepted a job for The Department of Defense and will be teaching on a Naval base. I know it's a great opportunity for her, but man, I sure am going to miss her!
3. Speaking of Kim and her journey, I am setting up a blog for her to use to keep all of us up to date on what she's doing in Japan. I think she'll be a great blogger and I can't wait to read about all her adventures! I will share the link here once everything is set up and ready to go!
4. I feel like I have been saying it every single week, but I am crazy busy at work still. Things are just so busy that I don't have time to breathe! It will start slowing down soon though. Thank God!
5. Sunday was mine and Justin's 16 year anniversary! We've only been married 6 years, but we started dating 10 years before that on August 15, 1994. It's crazy to think that we have been together more than half our lives!
6. When I got off work today it was so nice that I came home and opened the windows! It was a little hot still, around 78 degrees, but I really wanted the fresh air. The windows are staying open tonight and the air will be coming back on in the morning!
7. I'm thinking about Halloween now. Kenley decided a while ago that she wanted to be 'Jessie' from Toy Story. That was all great because I figured Kason could be 'Woody' or 'Buzz Lightyear', but then she changed her mind. She doesn't really know what she wants to be now, so I need to think of some suggestions. I would love something coordinating for them, but we'll see. Any thoughts??
8. I have been thinking about getting both of the kids allergy tested. Kason seems to have issues with some foods, although, I haven't figured out exactly what it is and also has some seasonal allergies. Kenley definitely has seasonal allergies and I think she might have some food allergies as well. I just think it might be a good idea to get them tested to know exactly what we are working with.
9. Can you believe that August is more than half way over? I swear the years go by faster and faster as I get older! It's crazy!!
10. I will be signing up in the next few days to become a Scentsy consultant. If you don't know what Scentsy is, google it! You will love it, I know it!! Wordless Wednesday

10 on Tuesday!

1. I have been CRAZY busy the past 2 weeks. 2 people were out of the office for more than a week and I didn't have a spare minute for anything. I was at work late everyday and could have stayed even later! I'm glad they are back, however, things haven't calmed down much!
2. The students are starting to arrive on campus already. It doesn't seem possible that it's already this time of year. I know Justin is thinking the same thing with football and school getting ready to start.
3. Justin started football yesterday, which officially makes me a 'football widow' for the next few months. I've seen him for a total of (maybe) an hour in the last 2 days and the kids have seen him even less. It won't be as bad once two-a-days ends, but he still won't be around as much as we would like.
4. We have been tossing around the idea of putting our house on the market. When we bought it, almost 5 years ago, we didn't expect to live there more than a couple years. For that reason we didn't pay much attention to the schools either. Now that Kenley will be starting school next year, we need to make a decision quickly because we don't want her to have to switch schools once she starts. Decision, decisions!
5. We drove around some neighborhood's over the weekend to see what was on the market. We found a couple that we liked, but what I discovered is that we definitely have 'champagne taste on a beer budget'. I wish we had about 250K to spend....we could buy our dream house for that!
6. I got all of my Scentsy stuff in today! I haven't gotten it all out of the boxes yet, but I love it! I think I will go ahead and sign up to be a consultant now. Anyone want to have a 'basket party'???
7. My sister still has 1 male boxer puppy for sale. If you are interested or know someone who is, let me know! They are SOOO cute that they almost made me want to bring one home....ALMOST!
8. Tito (our youngest boxer) just had a birthday last week. He turned 4 on August 5. Kenley thinks that it is so cool that her, Tito, and Tyson are all 4 years old right now. They won't be for long though....Tyson will be 5 on September 3 and Kenley turns 5 in November!
9. Kenley starts dance in a few weeks. I am so glad because she asks me all the time when she gets to dance again. She loves it!
10. I'm heading to Illinois this Saturday for a going away party for my friend, Kim. She's moving to Japan to teach for 2 years. I'm sure gonna miss her!
