- I am really dragging today because a cute little boy decided to wake up before 5am today. He wasn't cranky or anything, he was just up and ready to go!
- Kenley has t-ball pictures and a game tonight. I'll be packing the kids a picnic dinner since we'll leave the house a little after 5 and won't be back home until after 8.
- I'm scheduled to have my gallbladder removed on June 1. It's a laparoscopic procedure, so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm a little nervous, though, because I have never had surgery before.
- It rained all last weekend which was nice because my husband got to spend some time at home. It's bittersweet though because now he has to spend the evenings mowing to catch up. I'll be glad when gets out of school and can do the mowing during the week!
- Justin got new tires on his truck today. They cost almost $800!!! I know it's a lot of money, but he really needed them. The old tires were REALLY bald!
- Last Friday night Justin and I went to the RB prom. It was fun! He had to supervise and I went along because I thought it would be fun. We went to dinner and then headed to prom. Most of the girls looked great and there were also some 'interesting' ones, to say the least.
- All of the students are gone off campus now! YIPPEE!! It makes it way faster to get to work and much easier to get around campus!
- I went for a long walk last night with the dogs and I can hardly walk today. My legs and butt are really feeling it!
- Justin is working graduation this weekend and I am planning to have a girls movie night with Kenley. I just Netflix'd High School Musical because I know she's never seen it and she'll love it!
- My momma is leaving for a 10 day vacation on Saturday. She'll be spending 10 days HERE. Lucky girl! This place looks amazing! I hope you guys have a wonderful vacation, Momma!

10 on Tuesday!
- What a beautiful day. It's over 90 degrees and it's just lovely. I only wish I could be outside today instead of chained to my desk!
- I think we are supposed to have nice weather for a while. I sure hope that it stays nice and we don't have anymore 50 degree days until the fall. I'm loving the sunshine and it's been great for my attitude!
- Kenley has another t-ball game tonight. She really liking it so far and she's actually pretty good at hitting the ball. It's so cute to watch!
- I had the best Mother's Day this year. The kids and Justin got me two pairs of shoes that I wanted. I love them!! I got to spend several hours with my mom and watched the kids play in the water, then I got some quiet time at home while Kason napped and Kenley was still at my moms house. We went to Justin's parents for a yummy dinner and the day was just wonderful all around.
- I'm going to prom on Friday night. Seriously! Justin has to work a few events at the end of the school year and I decided that I would go with him this year. Of course I will not be wearing a prom dress, but it will be fun to get dressed up and go to a prom again!
- I got my hair cut and colored last night. It's blonder and about 5 inches shorter! Love it! I totally needed a change.
- So, I have a follow up appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning. The CT Scan that I had last week didn't show anything in my gallbladder, but it did show a spot on my liver. It will be interesting to hear what he wants to do from here. Who knows....to be continued, I guess!
- Since I was able to spend some time outside this weekend, I actually have a tan! I love it!
- Anyone want to host a Scentsy basket party? I'm offering $25 in FREE product to anyone who books a party in May. I'm also offering a $25 credit to anyone who refers someone to me and they book a party! Come on people!!!
- I'm having a hard time with 10 things this week, so I'll end with that!

Kason's 2nd Birthday Party
Since Kason is totally into Thomas the Train, it was only fitting to have a Thomas birthday party. This cake was made by our friend, Tammy, and let me tell you that it tasted as good as it looks! The chocolate cupcakes were super yummy as well!
Kason did not know what to think about everyone singing to him. He just kept looking around with with strange look on his face. He did blow out the candle though and thought that part was really fun!
Uncle Josh got him some adorable "boat shoes".

10 on Tuesday!
- Kenley's first t-ball game is tonight. Due to the fact that she has only had one practice, and most others have only had 2-3 practices, it should be pretty entertaining! I can't wait! I hope she has fun!
- Kason's birthday party was a success! He had a great time and got a bunch of great gifts. Thank you to everyone who came!
- I think I have written about it on here that I have been having some gallbladder trouble. I had bloodwork last week and an ultrasound yesterday. Today the nurse called to say that I have gallstones. I'm going in for a CT Scan Thursday morning and will then likely schedule a surgical consult. I know that this surgery isn't a big deal, but I'm a little nervous. I've never had surgery and have only been in the hospital 2 times when I gave birth to my kids!
- I'm hoping that by having my gallbladder removed that it will relieve all of my symptoms. I've been miserable with heartburn/indigestion for months and I seem to always have stomach issues. I need a break from it because it's making me really moody and I know my husband and kids are getting tired of it!
- We had a nice visit from our friends in KC this weekend. It was great to see you Robbin, Travis, Ali and Tate!
- Kenley got to spend the weekend with my mom at the lake for the "Magic Dragon" car show. She had a great time and said it was the best weekend ever! She loved it and had fun spending time with her cousins that she doesn't see often.
- Mother's Day is coming up this weekend. It's too bad that my husband will have to mow most of the day on Sunday. I know he's doing it us though, so it's ok. Thanks for working so hard to support your family, Justin!
- Can you believe it's May already? I cannot.
- I watched bits and pieces of the royal wedding last week and all I can say is "wow". I cannot believe how huge of an event that was. Don't even get me started on the hats either....all I can say about those is "WTF"!
- Osama Bin Laden is dead. It feels a little strange to be happy about the death of someone else, but I am. I know this is in no way the end of the war on terrorism, but I think it's a start. Great job, Obama!
