Happy 2nd Birthday, Kason David!!

How is my baby 2 already? I know I have said that a lot lately, but it's really hard to believe. It seems like just yesterday that I was freaking out about becoming a mother to two children and how would I ever love another one as much as the first. So much has changed since then, yet it seems like it was yesterday!

We've got a big party planned for Sunday and I can't wait. He really "kind of" understands what is going on, so it should be fun. There will be a new post about it later! In the mean time you can read about his birth HERE and look at his adorable face over the last 2 years. Enjoy!

10 on Tuesday!

  1. We had a great Easter weekend. It was busy but great. Kason really enjoyed finding Easter eggs, but not as much as Kenley!

  2. An Easter funny....Kenley came to my room in the middle of the night crying. When I asked her what was wrong, she told me that she saw bunny ears at her door and she got scared because the Easter bunny wanted to come into her room. She said she hid until he was gone because she didn't want him to see her so he would still leave her a basket, but then she ran to my room. Yes, she really thinks she saw the Easter bunny. SO CUTE!!

  3. Kason's 2nd birthday is on Friday. I can't believe it.

  4. With the birthday comes the dreaded doctor appointment and shots. That is next Friday, May 6. I'm not looking forward to that part.

  5. We've got a Thomas the Train party planned for Sunday. It should be a great time. I'm looking forward to celebrating and visiting with our friends and family!

  6. And speaking of his birthday party just reminds me of how much stuff I have to do to prepare for it. I need to get food, decorations, etc. Now I just have to find the time for all of it!

  7. So Kenley has t-ball practice again tonight. Her first game is next Tuesday. I can't wait. It's going to be so cute to watch her play ball. Considering she'll only had 2 practice's so far, it should be interesting!

  8. My mom and I had a 31 party the Sunday before last. It was a success. We had a great turnout and had a wonderful time visiting with friends. I love their stuff so I am very anxious to get my new stuff! LOVE IT!

  9. The "Royal Wedding" is on Friday. I'm going to DVR it. I've kind of gotten into the whole hoopla lately. I didn't think I would, but I got sucked in. Will you watch?

  10. I have a doctor appointment on Friday to have my gallbladder checked. I have been having some issues for a while and finally had enough. I'm going to have some tests and figure out what is wrong with me. Hopefully it's nothing serious!

10 on Tuesday!

  1. So much to talk about and so little time! Things have been totally nuts the past 2 weeks and this post will tell you why!

  2. Justin's back. I mentioned this on the last 10 on Tuesday I did. Justin hurt his back pretty badly on his spring break. I took him to the doctor on Wednesday (3-30) and they said it was a severe strain. He was down and out all week long and although he's back at it now, his back is not. He's still having a lot of pain and I am still trying to talk him into seeing the doctor again.

  3. My niece, Amelia, was in the hospital at the same time. She had a severe case of RSV and couldn't keep her O2 levels up. She was not doing well at all, but after 1 week in the hospital, she finally turned around. She doing great now, thank God! My sister called this morning to tell me that her first tooth broke through yesterday too!!

  4. Kason was also sick. He took 3 trips to the doctor office in just 5 days. The end result was Croup. He got an aweful steriod shot in his thigh to open his airway because he was gasping for breaths. He seems to be doing much better now, but he still has a pretty nasty cough. My poor guy!

  5. As if those 3 things didn't make everything crazy enough, we had a HUGE garage sale this past weekend. There were 7 families total (my mom, 2 sisters, friend Pam, coworker/friend Jeanette and my mother in law) who brought stuff to my house for this sale. Let me just say that we did WONDERFUL! Our grand total was just under $1800!! It totally made the mess and the time worth it! Too bad it's not all mine :)

  6. Kenley has her first T-Ball practice tonight! She's got an adorable pink ball glove!! I'm not sure who is more excited about it. She'll be playing on a team that a friend coaches, plus we know several of the kids on the team. It will be interesting if nothing more!

  7. This weekend my mom and I are hosting a Thirty One party. I love, love, love the Thrity One products so I am really excited to host this party! If any of my readers are interested in coming, let me know!

  8. Because of the party coming up this weekend, I am in a mad dash to get the rest of my house together! I really wanted to have stuff hung on the walls before I have people there, but I don't think I will have the time to get it done.

  9. Last week we went to "Tons of Trucks" at Cosmo park. It's basically just a parking lot full of dump trucks, fire trucks, tractors, boats, ambulances, police cars, etc. The kids both loved it! We had a great time and I will post some pictures later. I didn't get too many good ones!

  10. I'm planning Kason's 2nd birthday party now. It's crazy to think that my last baby is turning 2. I'm perfectly happy with my 2 wonderful children, but this is making me have baby fever all over again. Ugh.....

Does this equal 35 years of bad luck?

What is that you ask? That is the huge mirror that used to hang above my master bathroom vanity. We were all hanging out in the living room last Sunday and we heard this loud noise and glass breaking. Justin and I both looked at each other and took off running towards the sound. This is what we saw when we got to our bathroom.

We have no clue why this happened, but it seems that we always have stuff like this happening to us. I can't say I'm surprised. Justin's dad was nice enough to come help us clean it up so that I could keep the kids out of the room. For now we are left with this.......
